IMPORTANT Information Please note that Smart Consultation cannot currently be used on a managed remote server environment (VES, WES, Bureau, CCA etc...), i.e. you must maintain your own server within the practice to use Smart Consultation as it needs to run an installation wizard which cannot be run on a managed remote server. To download and install Smart Consultation please follow these instructions. Click the green download button above to start the download. When the File Download dialog box appears click the “Save” button. When the Save As dialog box appears choose a folder location and save the file to a known location on your computer, for example, to your Desktop. Wait for the file to download and then close all applications including the browser. Double-click on the saved file icon to start the installation process. Follow the prompts within the installer to complete the installation of Smart Consultation. Read the README file at the end of the installation Once complete you must sign in as SYS in Vision (and only SYS) then open Smart Consultation. The SYS account will enable you to set up the users and security rights in Smart Consultation
Important Notes for software Installation: Please remove the tick “Prompt if no data when closing consultation” under your Consultation Manager setup (Consultation menu > Options > Setup > Consultation tab). This will save confusion (view video) Make sure you know the SYS password in Vision as you must be signed into this account in Vision to initially set up users in Smart Consultation . If you have forgotten the password just change it in the Vision Security module. In the File menu the initial Smart Consultation administrator password is: ADMIN Set up additional users after installation under the Smart Consultation administrator: in Admin Options menu > User/Profiles Set up > Show All Users > Tick Use Smart Consultation for each user you would like to use Smart Consultation, but not exceeding your purchased licences.
